hot paprika or 1-1/2 tbsp sweet paprika and 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper

drained sauerkraut

Freshly ground black pepper

Sauerkraut juice
if necessary
Instructions
Boil egg noodles in salted water until cooked but firm. Drain and reserve.
Meanwhile, over low heat, melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a 12-inch skillet. Add paprika or paprika and cayenne and cook, stirring, for 1-1/2 minutes.
Add remaining ingredients and cook until heated through and slightly swimmy. Add noodles. Add extra sauerkraut juice, if necessary.
