Ingredients
  

  • 1-1/2 cups buckwheat flour
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 6 whole eggs
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup butter melted and cooled

Instructions 

  • Preheat a waffle iron.
  • Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  • Beat the eggs, buttermilk, and melted butter together in a separate bowl, until well combined. Add to the dry ingredients and stir until just blended.
  • Ladle the batter into the heated waffle iron and cook until the waffles stop steaming and are brown and crisp.
