Ingredients
  

  • 2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chile powder
  • ¼ teaspoon ground ancho chili powder
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 4 each Salmon Fillets 6 ounces
  • 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoon maple syrup

Instructions 

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • 2. Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl.
  • 3. Sprinkle fish with salt; rub fish with spice mixture.
  • 4. Heat oil and butter in large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Place fish in skillet, flesh side down, sear fish 5 minutes.
  • 5. Turn fish over in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
  • 6. Place pan in hot oven and bake, 5 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
  • 7. Carefully remove hot pan from oven. Drizzle fish with maple syrup and serve.
