Unstuffed Cabbage Rolls
This streamlined take on cabbage rolls serves up the same great flavor in half the time it takes to make the traditional dish.

Ingredients
- 1 lb. Taste of Inspirations 91% lean ground beef
- 1 tsp. Nature's Place All-Purpose Seasoning
- 1 28-oz. can Hannaford No Salt Added Tomato Sauce
- 1 cup Hannaford Instant Brown Rice
- 1/2 cup water
- 8 cups chopped or shredded napa cabbage from 1 head
- 2 tsp. red or white wine vinegar
- 1/2 tsp. sugar
- Salt and pepper
- 1/2 cup Hannaford Light Sour Cream
Instructions
- 1. Add beef and seasoning to a Dutch oven over medium-high heat, stirring to break beef up into small pieces, and cook until no longer pink, 6 to 8 minutes.
- 2. Stir in tomato sauce, rice, and water and bring to a simmer. Add cabbage and reduce heat to medium-low. Cover and cook for 5 minutes. Stir, re-cover, and continue to cook until cabbage is tender and rice is cooked, about 5 more minutes.
- 3. Remove from heat and stir in vinegar and sugar. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve with sour cream.
