Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 lb plus 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 5 cups hot fish stock

Instructions 

  • Melt the butter in a large saucepan and stir in the flour.
  • 2 When blended and smooth add the fish stock and stir vigorously with a wire whisk.
  • When sauce is thickened and smooth, cook about 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
