Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1-1/2 cups heavy cream at room temperature
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1 to 2 tbsp chopped candied ginger according to taste

Instructions 

  • Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Cook over high heat for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until the mixture is light golden brown. Remove from the heat.
  • Add the cream and stir until smooth. Add the butter, a teaspoon at a time. Blend well.
  • Add the candied ginger and stir well.
