Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1-1/2 cups heavy cream at room temperature
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 to 2 tbsp chopped candied ginger according to taste
Instructions
- Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan. Cook over high heat for about 5 to 10 minutes, or until the mixture is light golden brown. Remove from the heat.
- Add the cream and stir until smooth. Add the butter, a teaspoon at a time. Blend well.
- Add the candied ginger and stir well.
