Ancho Chili Rubbed Salmon With Maple Glaze

Ingredients
- 2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon chile powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground ancho chili powder
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- 4 each Salmon Fillets 6 ounces
- 1 teaspoon vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ teaspoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon maple syrup
Instructions
- 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 2. Combine first 4 ingredients in small bowl.
- 3. Sprinkle fish with salt; rub fish with spice mixture.
- 4. Heat oil and butter in large ovenproof skillet over medium-high heat. Place fish in skillet, flesh side down, sear fish 5 minutes.
- 5. Turn fish over in pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar.
- 6. Place pan in hot oven and bake, 5 minutes or until fish is cooked through.
- 7. Carefully remove hot pan from oven. Drizzle fish with maple syrup and serve.
